Pacific Community Park - TEMPORARILY RELOCATED ::.
NEWS RELEASE:
March 16: CLOSED - Under Construction - Use Vandervort until further notice -- Construction will be substantially complete and the park will be opened to the public on July 1, 2008 -- Grand opening August 2nd (events).
For the success of this transition:

NE 18th St & NE 172nd Ave
CLOSED - Under Construction - Use Vandervort until further notice. Nestled in the corner of NE 18th St and NE 172nd Ave (Near 162nd Ave) in Vancouver, This 56 acre, fenced in plot of land is currently under construction. In 2005, Vancouver-Clark County Parks & Recreation began plans to develop this land into a large multi-use community park. They have designated 8 fenced in acres for official Off Leash use. The off leash space will have some nice walking trails for the owners and other dog specific amenities.

UPDATE: MONDAY (3-3-08) VANDERVORT WILL OPEN AND THIS MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE 2-WK TEMPORARY TRANSITION FROM PACIFIC, ENDING (3-16-08). Additionaly, 2.5 acres will be left open for neighborhood children to play in. See our news page for more details. |
