Subject: [DOGPAW] Washougal OLA Update

We would like to update Dogpaw members on the Washoughal OLA that we  
announced at our annual meeting.

We are having a temporary delay in the development of the Washougal
OLA.  Unfortunately, we have discovered that a part of the land
originally designated for the park is in a protected wildlife
preserve and can't be used.  We are still ironing out the boundaries
and exact location.  We may end up with 2 separate locations - one big
and one smaller.

The good news is the City (Mayor, Park Board and Public works dept.)
are committed to the effort and are working with us to get the
boundary/location issues resolved.  Once we know more (or get farther
along in working out the details) we will inform everyone of the
specifics.

We are moving as fast as we can and appreciate everyone's
understanding and patience.
