Camas - north of HWY-14, near the Goot Park. Still negotiating. Update 2009/2010 (on hold for funding & review).
Description: We look for locations of 5+ acres. DOGPAW (all-volunteer run) must install features like; parking, fence, kiosks, signage, and waste bins, etc, at each site. We are currently discussing options with the City of Camas.

Camas Parks Commission is looking for public input. Remember that the Stevenson Off-Leash Area (Washougal, 2.6 miles east) is a TEMPORARY location. Please sign the petition to send the following email, in care of the Parks & Rec Manager:

"Dear Camas Parks Commission C/O Jerry Acheson, Parks and Recreation Manager:
Please work with DOGPAW to build and maintain an off-leash dog park. I understand that the currently proposed Camas site is approximately six acres of flat open terrain, located at NE Third Ave and Zenith St, west of Goot Park. I am in favor of having a dog park at this location."
